Life is Better with Ceras Health

Ceras Health in 2022 – New Devices, Enhanced Care Team Support

Written by Sesily | Apr 1, 2022 5:45:20 AM

Ceras Health started with a mission to help patients improve health outcomes by increasing communication with their healthcare providers and implementing overall lifestyle changes with the assistance of remote monitoring devices. Our first remote monitoring device was the b300+ smartwatch which many patients still rely on today. Our Care Team has been comprised of clinically trained Care Coordinators since day one.

As Ceras grows to accommodate more patients and their unique needs, our product line is growing with us. In 2022 we will launch new and improved devices that continue to bring you peace of mind and let you live your life comfortably. All Ceras smart devices are paired with a support team of clinically trained staff who monitor all incoming data and address any alerts indicating deviations in patients’ health. Ceras Care Coordinators will assess the alerts and intervene as needed. Your patient’s data will securely transmit to your electronic health record (EHR)

b330 Smart Watch

The upgraded smartwatch has increased accuracy and a more contemporary design along with standard features including steps, distance, calories burned, heart rate, blood pressure, and o2 saturation.

New and upgraded features include a sleep tracker which will monitor your sleep quality, deep vs. light sleep, and hours slept, and a multi-activity Sport feature to keep you motivated and moving. The b330 will monitor your activity on an outdoor walk/run, a treadmill walk/run, hiking, outdoor or stationary cycling, elliptical, and rowing machine.

The b500 Smart Scale

Tracking fluctuations in your body weight can help you and your doctor better understand your current condition. Your body weight can affect your medication dosage and be an indicator of health problems. The b500 Smart Scale will track:

  • Body weight
  • Body Mass Index
  • Body Fat percentage
  • Water percentage

It is important for patients with certain conditions to regularly monitor body composition data. Rapid fluctuations in weight can indicate potential issues with various health conditions, including the need to adjust medication dosages.

Data transmitted from your b500 will be stored in your Ceras mobile app and shared securely with your doctor. In the event of any concerning fluctuations, a Ceras Care Coordinator will contact you to assess the situation and take any measures needed.

Ceras Health Patient Care Network Center (PCNC)

The PCNC is comprised of enrollment consultants, device technicians, and clinically trained Care Coordinators. Our staff is made up of MDs, MAs, RNs, CMAs, with decades of medical background. As our patient family grows, so does the PCNC team. Our team covers areas of the United States near their residence, giving them a unique insight into the community around them. Knowing the demographic makeup of the area allows care needs to be tailored, and local resources accessed.

Our PCNC team focuses on their assigned clinics to provide consistency in service, so you can be comforted by a familiar voice on the other end of the line during monthly check-in calls, or any time you need special assistance.

We are looking forward to 2022 and many more opportunities to empower patients and improve healthcare experiences around the world.
